Unique Wall Structure
The walls of Roovan Tiny House stand out with excellent thermal insulation, high heat storage capacity, and exceptional sound insulation, in addition to remarkable static strength.
They behave like a natural climate control system.
The walls of Roovan Tiny House are vapor-permeable, which means there is no risk of moisture damage or mold.
Roovan uses only eco-friendly and sustainable building materials.
Thanks to their diffusion-open structure and the natural properties of wood, the walls absorb moisture, store it temporarily, and release it back into the air.
This process maintains a pleasant indoor climate by naturally balancing humidity levels.
All Roovan Tiny Houses are durably built and manufactured to the highest standards.
The superstructure of Roovan Tiny House is made of PEFC-certified C24 structural wood, produced in modern facilities.
We rely on ecological materials, energy-efficient building technologies, and long-lasting timber.
As a construction material, wood has numerous advantages.
We utilize these benefits to maintain the balance between nature and living, ensuring durability and sustainability for the future.
Plus Series
Wood is a bio-hygroscopic and anisotropic material.
With its thermal, acoustic, electrical, mechanical, and aesthetic properties, it is perfectly suited for residential construction — so much so that a comfortable home can be built entirely from wood, something nearly impossible with other materials.
Wood has been both a common and historical building choice for centuries.
Econ Series
Wood, being a relatively lightweight material, can outperform even steel in terms of breaking length or self-weight load-bearing capacity.
Simply put, it supports its own weight more effectively — allowing for wider spans and fewer supports in architectural design.
Wood also has natural electrical and thermal resistance.
When dried to typical moisture content levels (7–12% MC), most wood species resist electricity and remain dimensionally stable even under heat, enhancing building strength and fire safety.
Material Composition and Layers
The structural frame is made from PEFC-certified C24 Scandinavian spruce, while the exterior façade is covered with 19 mm thermowood cladding or partially aluminum composite panels.
A ventilation gap ensures natural air circulation on the exterior.
The interior surface features birch marine plywood for stability and strength, finished with wallpaper or partial wood cladding for aesthetics.
The wall cavities are filled with stone wool insulation (low thermal conductivity).
Exterior coatings use Rubio Monocoat or Baufix paints.
Inside the walls, Tyvek breathable membranes provide moisture control — preventing condensation and protecting the wood against humidity.
Acoustic Comfort and Environmental Benefits
Wood’s acoustic properties make it ideal for living or office spaces — it absorbs sound rather than reflecting it, reducing echo and improving comfort.
As an environmentally friendly material, wood decomposes far faster than concrete, metal, or plastic — naturally returning nutrients to the soil instead of polluting it.
Strong Trailer Structure
Each Tiny House trailer chassis is built using 3 mm double-bent, laser-cut steel strengthened with folds.
The main frame connections are reinforced with 3 mm laser-cut steel plates.
It includes two 1750 kg braked axles, with a total load capacity of 3500 kg (E-certified).
We use the Knott brand coupling system, renowned worldwide for its quality and safety.
Each trailer includes four stabilizing jacks, and the upper grid is made from 40×80×2.5 mm profiles.
Tire options include 185 R14 C and 195/20 R13 C.
Production is available in custom sizes from 3 m to 10 m.
We can also produce O1-class chassis (under 750 kg).
Our Roovan Tiny House chassis models are certified and valid in 35 countries across Europe and the world.
