  • Sustainable and Unique

Wood has always been one of the most durable and natural materials that nature offers us.
At Roovan Tiny House, we embrace this gift — using wood to maintain the balance between nature and human life for a sustainable future.

By using wood, we achieve excellent natural thermal insulation and energy efficiency.
The wood mass itself has a climate-regulating effect, offering outstanding sound insulation while being CO₂-neutral — because as it grows, it absorbs CO₂ from the atmosphere and stores it long term.

In addition to its ecological benefits, wood is strong, flexible, and versatile.
It provides superior natural insulation, is healthy to live with, ideal for allergy sufferers, and is also aesthetically pleasing.

For us, wood is not just a material — it is a passion.
We have always acted with this belief and reflected it in every one of our projects.

Responsibility to Nature and Our Environment

Roovan Tiny House sources its wood from sustainably managed forests, making a real contribution to ecological balance and climate protection.

Through PEFC and other certification systems, the wood used in production comes from responsibly controlled forests.
This certification ensures that the wood is traceable throughout all production and trade stages — from forest management to the final product manufacturer.

According to PEFC standards, forests are regrown naturally or artificially after harvesting, ensuring that a new tree is planted for every tree cut down.

This production approach ensures environmental awareness and energy efficiency, meaning that Roovan Tiny House operates responsibly — both economically and ecologically.

  • Wood Saves the Climate

The “Wood Saves the Climate” initiative aims to raise awareness — using facts and real arguments — about how responsibly managed forests and wood-based products help protect our planet’s climate.

Sustainable forest management means that the amount of harvested wood is always less than the amount grown, taking into account all forest functions, including biodiversity.
Controlled forest management and the balanced distribution of trees of different ages ensure both continuous growth and the preservation of biodiversity.

In Germany, unlike in many tropical countries, forested areas are steadily increasing.
Between 2002 and 2012, while 58,000 hectares of forest were harvested, 108,000 hectares grew back — a 0.4% net increase overall.

Roovan Tiny House is proud to be a part of the “Wood Saves the Climate” initiative, fulfilling its responsibility to protect renewable resources.
